A Blessing Unto The Father!
Often we think that a blessing is receiving something material. “I got a raise, a new car, a big house, and I am healthy and wealthy.” Are these not what we deem blessings? A song I often sing that I am remembering, is “I will bless the Lord at all times!” This song is confessing that there is a blessing that we give to God and it is not about us trying to get something out of Him. Many people think it is God’s job to give you everything you want and need if you are a good person. Yes, God will meet every one of our needs according to His riches and glory in Christ Jesus. It is about what he needs and him being blessed…When we analyze the Hebrew Word for "bless," we are given Beyt, Resh, and Kaf. When combined, these images from the pictographs provided in Ancient Hebrew, portray someone receiving something with open hands. It is easy to say that if we receive something we like, we are blessed. However, it is rather when we receive that which is from God, that we are blessed. When we receive God's perfect will for our lives every day, we can assuredly say we are very blessed. We have already been blessed with every spiritual blessing in heavenly places (Ephesians 1:3). This blessing is called the Word of God, Jesus, and God's purpose for your life. We have received this blessing! Now, let together be believing, thanking, and manifesting this blessing each day. Amen...
