Why Humble Yourself?
Scripture tells us that God dwells in Eternity and with those that are of a humble and contrite heart. If we have received of Him, he dwells inside of us. Yes, we have already received of his fullness, we have already been healed, delivered, and blessed with every spiritual blessing in heavenly places. While studying the word "humble," I discovered that it is written in Ancient Hebrew with the symbols Ayin (Eye/Watch/Experience) and Nun (Seed/Living Word). The Father is telling us that if we remain humble we will see and experience God's Living Word in our life. As God continues to bless us, it may be easy to let the pride of life give us an entitled outlook, but do not be deceived. We can only continue to receive of Him by submitting to Him. Yahshua is not only servant of all, but is also the chief and head of all. This is why we are taught that the last will be first. Additionaly, Matthew 23:12 says "And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased; and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted. James 4:6 says "He will resist the pride." If God personally resisting you is not a reason to remain humble, I'm not sure what else is. To conclude, as we walk in humility before the Father, we enter into a greater intimacy and relationship. Remain humble Saints and be blessed!
