It is honorable to give thanks to God for all he has done and continues to do in our life.  One day I was thanking the Father and began to notice I was thanking him for natural things.  We all should be thankful for God's provision whether it be a house, food, transportation, clothes, vacations, jewelry, and finances.  I then asked myself "If God is a Spirit, then how do these items directly relate to his needs?" Yes, God does have needs and desires!  The Father said in 1 Samuel 2:35 "I will raise me up a faithful priest that shall do acording to that which is in mine heart and in my mind..." This conversation prompted the question of what should I really be thankful for, meaning, I know what is valuable and needed in the natural, but what is valuable and needed for the Father?  The Father's heart is hidden in the Ancient Hebrew.  Here we are shown what is truly valuable to Him.  The word we are looking at is Arak, which is H6186.  It means to arrange, put in order, prepare, ordain, and furnish.  The Ancient Hebrew tells us that true value is allowing God's hand to work in your life.  The symbols Ayin (See/Experience), Resh (Authority/Head), and Kaf (Hand/Work) represent value according to the Father.  Strong and Brown-Driver-Brigg are all scholars that give further understanding that this value is arranging your life and putting it in order according to the Father's will.  These are spiritual things Saints.  Ordained means that we are called to a special purpose and walk in it.  Remember that we are his temple and we are to furnish it, not with material things, but to furnish it with every good, spiritual fruit.  Nothing in the natural will be taken with us when we live this fleshly body, only that which is of Spirit.  What have we clothed ourselves with?  Is our spiritual life in order and is it arranged according to his plans?  The Father is looking throughout all the earth to see what is valuable to him and what trees (people) are bearing fruit.  He is telling you right now that you are his Pearl of Great Price.  You are so valuable to Him, he cannot put a price on you.  Those that belong to Him and continue to place their life in his hand, He will not let a single hair on your head be harmed.  This is how much he truly values you!  Stay Blessed...
