Translation and Passing Over
This next "Pearl" continues the study of "Translation," the Hebrew word abar. This word means to crossover, go beyond, and pass through. The ancient Hebrew teaches us that to be translated, we must walk in our purpose in God. If we do not know our purpose in God, how can we crossover into it? There is a strong connection between being translated and Passover. Passover recounts God sparing those in Egypt that had the Blood of the Lamb smeared on the doorposts of their house. 1st there needed to be a lamb that was slain. Do you know that you are the lamb that God is referring to? How many times does God teach us in the New Testament that we mut lay down our life and lose it to gain the life we have in the spirit. John 12:24 tells us "Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die it bringeth forth much fruit. You are that corn of wheat and God is wanting you to bear much fruit. Paul understood the purpose of laying down his life. 1 Corinthians 15:31 says "I protest by your rejoicing which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily." Also, in Galatians 2:20 Paul proclaims "I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me..." He is stating that he has attained a new life in Christ by laying down his life as a lamb and passing over from death to life. In order to walk in our purpose and calling in Christ, we first must surrender our life, goals, ambitions, desires, and will. One last verse that shows why passing over and translation require the laying down of one's life is 1 Corinthians 15:36 "that which thou sowest is not quickened, except it die." Saints, we must surrender everything in the natural completely in order to walk in our heavenly purpose that is eternal life. As we lose our identity in the natural, we gain our identity in the spiritual. The Father is wanting to give you a new name, that means you have to give up the old name, just as a if we are God's righteousness, we cannot call ourselves sinners. Set your eyes above and take your identity only as the New Creation, his Yahshua.
