The Son of God
When we think of the word "son," we think of biology, offspring, parents, and progeny. However, there is much more to it than we think. We are told in Isaiah 55:8-9 that God's thoughts and ways are higher than ours. The same should be said of our understanding of words in the Bible. What is it about "Son" that is so important? Did the Father need to produce offspring or did he need something else entirely different? I only ask this because, in the Spirit, there is neither male nor female, or the giving of marriage. So, let us look at the word "son" in ancient Hebrew. We have two letters in Hebrew that make up the word "son," they are Beyt (House) and Nun (Seed), together they mean "The house continues." This is not a carnal work of producing offspring or sons, nor were we told to multiply and have more natural kids. We were given the instruction to become a Tree of Life, producing Fruits of the Spirit, Yielding the Seed that is His Word. His Word is Yahshua (Jesus). Anyone that continues the Work of God, does the will of the Father, is part of the house and family of God. Jesus reminded us "who is my brother, sister, mother, father, but they who do the will of my Heavenly Father." Jesus is a Son because he is fulfilling the will of the Father. Anyone that is fulfilling the will of the Father, manifesting Christ Jesus, carrying out the work of Salvation and Reconciliation, has entered into Sonship. Your house, in other words, is a sign of who you are, a reflection of you. The Father has set out to complete the work of reconciliation and salvation. He is calling on those that will become his Sons and help Him continue this mighty work.
