The Office of Accuser
After reading the "Pearl" on "offence," I pray you can see how easy it is to accuse. An accusation starts with being offended. In order to explain why you are offended, you are required to make an accusation. Most often, people that are offended say that they are mad due to someone else's behavior. Even if you don't say that you are offended, holding onto these emotions is a slippery slope for accusation. Is accusation really that horrible? Well, Satan is referred to as the Accuser of the Brethen. If we continue to daily accuse others, we are taking on the identity of an accuser more than the identity of a savior. You might be saying that you are not supposed to have the identity of a savior, that belongs to Jesus. Remember in 1 John 4:17 it says "as he is, so are we in this world." This is plainly stating that we are one and the same as Yahshua (Jesus). Everything that it says about Jesus is what you should be thinking and believing about yourself. We are one with the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Think about it, if Jesus has the ministry of Salvation and Reconciliation, we do too! Paul tells us in 2 Corinthians 5:18-19 "And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; To wit that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation." Did you see that? God is not imputing or accusing. In fact, he has given us the ministry of reconciliation. This is tied to forgiveness and mercy. Pay close attention to your words. They will define your ministry. We have been given the ministry of reconciliation, not the ministry of accusation. It is by our WORDS that reconcile, forgive, save, and heal. As I take this topic deeper, remember that accusation is the opposite of what God has done through Yahshua. Let us look at what an Accuser really is in ancient Hebrew. Strong's H3960 "Lashan" means to accuse or slander. It is made of the Hebrew letters Lamed (Staff), Shin (Wall of Separation), and Nun (Seed/Word). The Office of Accuser that Satan holds is one that holds back and separates people from the Word of God. Can you see how accusation is the opposite of reconciliation? An accuser seeks to impute and expose every trespass. Yahshua died for all of our sins and trespasses, covering and blotting them out. Every time we make an accusation, we are imputing sin, trespass, and offence. Words of this nature work directly against the work of Salvation. May we continue to faithfully carry out our Ministry of Reconciliation and speak Words of Reconciliation. We stand in the Office of A Son of God, not an Accuser. Amen.
