More than Written Words
As we move through the written Word and fellowship with the Father, our relationship will grow deeper. Some people may not believe they can hear God's voice, yet it is a simple matter of talking to God, which is what prayer is. It is natural for you to know someone's voice if you spend a lot of time with them. With God, it may not be an audible voice you are hearing, but an internal voice or thought. God will speak to each person differently because a relationsihp is just that, personal. How do you know the difference between the voice of a stranger and a loved one at your door? We recognize the voice of the one we love becuase we spend time speaking with them. Let us do the same with the Father as we become his Living Word. The more we read God's Word and talk to Him, the more He will speak to us concerning His Word. This is how we move beyond the written Word. This is what Paul was referring to we he said we are Epistles that are not written with ink or engraved stone. We was saying we are Living Epistles written by the Holy Spirit living in us. It is vitally important that have the written Word in us and continue our relationship with the Father in Yahshua. As we mature in Yahshua, the Father will begin to speak directly to us and through us. This concept is the foundation for the Living Word. God's Living Word in us will always align with the written Word. Both the written and living Word of God are necessary in our life. Another way to show the difference is knowing the Word of God and knowing the God who gave the Word. Some may know what God said in his Word, however, are we seeking to know Him personally?
