More than Conquerors
If you have spent any time in a church, you may have sang the song and read the verse out of Romans 8:37 "Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us." When we asked ourselves what it means to be more than a conqueror, many suggestions arise as an explanation. This "Pearl," comes as a Living Word, as have many have come previously. I have often discussed with the Father how there are many teachings, doctrines, and sermons that are all presented with colorful rhetoric. As Sons of God, we have been commissioned and are expected to produce results and manifest all that is in the Father's heart. This statement comes from the Father awaiting the manifestation of the Sons of God (Romans 8:19) and God desiring a faithful Priest that will do all that is in his heart and mind (1 Samuel 2:35). If we are to be results and purpose-driven, we must ask ourselves what is being accomplished in the Church today and are we on target. Paul had the same frame of thought. This is why he wrote in 1 Corinthians 2:4 "My speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and power." He mentioned this again in Colossians 2:4 stating "This I say, lest any man should beguile you with enticing words." During this time of seeking and asking for tangible results from the Father, I continued to have the thoughts "more than a conqueror" in my mind. The word for "conquer" in the Greek refers to the Hebraic word "subdue," which is H1696 dabar. It means to talk, command, teach, and speak. Upon seeing this, I knew the Father was conveying to us that if we are filled and lead by his Spirit, we are not merely talking and enticing people with our words. The Ancient Hebrew shows us that "subdue" is written with the characters Dalet (Door), Beyt (House), and Resh (Authority/Head). These symbols form the word "Order" and "Re-Order." When you become the Word of God made Flesh, which is being one with Yahshua, your words will bring Order. If the Word that is preached is rejected, it will then begin to Re-order creation. This re-ordering sounds like a casual, painless process. If we cannot have things in order, we simply will not have things. Let us remember the flood, Sodom and Gomorrah, and the plagues of Egypt. These are 3 prime examples of the Word in action. Noah preached for more than 100 years before the flood. The word he preached was utterly rejected. Godly order was despised in the Earth. Abraham and Lot were sent to Sodom and Gomorrah. Know that the Word was preached to these two cities and the Word was rejected. A great re-ordering took place for all those that remained in the city. Lastly, I must mention that the word "plague" is synonomous with re-ordering. Moses issued the command of God to let his people go. When this Word was rejected, plagues followed after, a great re-ordering. The Word of the Lord to the Sons of God is that we are more than conquerors, meaning, we do not come to entertain people and tell them what they want to hear. We are the Living Word of God that is not idle, but sharper than a two-edged sword. We are accomplishing all that the Father desires, through us, kingdoms will rise or fall, order will be established or re-ordering will take place. Prepare for the next "Pearl" that discusses the Word that was brought to Sodom and Gomorrah and how it is connected with the Word of God that you are!
