Receive Your Crown
What is the crown often mentioned and promised to believers that overcome? Throughout the new testament, we read that there is a crown of righteousness, a crown of life, and a crown of glory. These types of crowns are all the same crown given to those that are the Father's righteousness, life, and glory. Is God really going to give you a 24 karat gold crown? Does it make sense for the Father who is a spirit, who asks us to walk with him and produce spiritual fruits, to reward us with a material and carnal prize? Let us now look at the word "Crown" in Hebrew. The Ancient Hebrew depicts a crown with the letters Zayin (Plough) and Resh (Head). These characters create the meaning to "crush the head." As we have discussed previously, heads of grain and fruit produce seeds. The only way to gather the seeds is by crushing the heads. Once the seeds have been removed from the head, they can be scattered and planted. One extra piece of information is that each species reproduces after its own kind. So in order to "go forth and multiply" the Seed of God, which is Yahshua, the Living Word, we must 1st become Yahshua. As we become mature in Yahshua, we are ready to produce seed and reproduce. The same happens in the natural. We must be of age in order to reproduce. Once someone has received Christ (Yahshua) and has matured in Christ, they can receive a crown, which comes by us crucifying the flesh and crushing the head. As we die to ourselves and our carnal mind, we are allowing the Seed to be dispersed and multiplied. This is how the Word is taken into all the Earth. The Crown is given to the members of Christ that are daily carrying their cross and replenshing the Earth with the Sons of God. Those that become as kernals of wheat and fall to the ground and die, will produce bring forth much fruit and seed. Those that carry out this process have a Crown of life, glory, and righteousness that is attributed to the Father.
