Given Power
What is power and who has it? We can think of a variety of ways that power can be shown. God does not give his power to just anyone. It would be the same as giving an American Express Black, which has no limit, to your child. The Father gives his power to those that are the Bride and have matured as Sons. They are in agreement with his plans and have proven themselves to be faithful stewards of that power. John 1:12 tells us "But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the Sons of God, even to them that believe on his name." This verse shows us that the Father wants us to become his Sons. This is not a biological relationship nor does it speak of a paternal relationship. A Son in the Ancient Hebrew, is one that allows the house to continue. Did you know that the Father has a plan in place and is waiting for it to be made manifest? To those that he trusts, he will give them power to manifest his heart and desire in the Earth. There are multiple definitions for the word "power" in the Bible. Koach, H3581, is derived from the Ancient Hebrew picture of "The Hand (Kaf) that separates (Chet) (to make Holy)." This is rooted in the understanding the Holiness means separate and set apart. Who has been given power to Minister unto God in Holiness and declare all the Earth his filled with his Glory? We sing "Holy is the Lord." When you think of the word "Holy," think of a verb and not just a noun. To set apart is the act of making holy. As Yahshua, according to the Ancient Hebrew, we are given all power to separate and to set the Father apart from this experience called flesh, time, and death. The next word for "power" is El, H410, which also means God. This word is derived from the Ancient Hebrew picture of "The strong leader (Aleph) that teaches and guides (Lamed). Power is given to those that will be the "Good Shepherd" and point to the way, truth, and life. Additionally, "power" is written as Sarah, H8280. This word is derived from the understanding of "Rod (Samekh) of Authority (Resh)." With a rod of authority, the heads of rulers will be turned. Fourthly, Az, H5794, is the type of "power" that denotes the picture of "Becoming/Experiencing (Ayin) a weapon (Zayin)." This is the type of "power" that God speaks of when he says I am making a new, sharp threshing instrument with teeth (Isaiah 41:15). Also, those that would become the Living Word will be sharper than a two-edged sword. Lastly, we are given Mashal, which is H4910, derived from the Ancient Hebrew pictures denoting power to have "chaos (Mem) removed (Chet) from the way of life (Lamed). This word is associated with dominion and rule. Remember Saints that all power and authority comes from God, and if we expect to have any power with God, we must be in alignment with his perfect will. God Bless! The Father finished the works before the foundation of the Earth. For his plans to continue and be made manifest, he is earnestly waiting for his mature Sons, his Bride, to manifest the New Creation, which is the God that is to Come.
