Messengers of the Living Word
What is the Living Word? After discussing previously how we are all Authors of Salvation in Yahshua, I will now address how we are messengers, living epistles, having our "words in red" as Yahshua, and are the Gospel of Jesus Christ (Yahshua). This will help us understand how we are messengers of the Living Word. These statements become more evident as you become one with Yahshua. As you take on your identity as Him, it becomes clear that as He is, so are you (1 John 4:17). It is a matter of letting this mind be in you that was also in Yahshua (Philippians 2:5). Many choose to accept Yahshua into their life, yet how many continue to walk with Him, and see themselves as Him? I will begin with why we are living epistles and what that means. In 2 Corinthians 3:2-3 it reads "Ye are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read of all men: Forasmuch as ye are manifestly delclared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God..." If we look at the word "Epistle" in Greek we find the word G1992 Epistole (A Written Message). Paul is writing to us and explaining that we are living epistles of Christ. His Word is written on the inside of us Saints. An epistle is a letter and each of us that have a relationship with Yahshua have an epistle or letter which is the message that we are. The Spirit of the Living God lives in you and you are becoming more and more like Him. Your journey is as a letter and epistle for all the world to read. There is not one person who has the same journey, but they are all part of the Father, making a whole.
As we continue our journey in Christ and read throught the Gospels, we will eventually discover that the Gospels are the testimony of Jesus Christ. Paul the Apostle grew in his relationship with Yahshua to the point that he knew we were called to be living epistles, and this is what allowed to use the phrase "my gospel" in the book of Romans and 2 Timothy. Paul, like all of us that have Yahshua living on the inside of us, having been given a message and a gospel. When we look at the word "gospel" in Greek, we see the word G2098 Euaggelion (Good Message). When we break this word down further, we have the word G32 Aggelos (Angel or Messenger). So, a gospel is a message. Paul makes it clear that we have the written message (Epistle) of Yahshua in our hearts, making us the Living Word, the written Word was made carved onto stone tablets or written with ink. This Living Word manifests itself when we take our identity as Yahshua and walk in the purpose we have as a Son of God. When we mature in Yahshua, our Words are in "Red!" This is when we say only what we hear the Father saying. Amen.
