A Priest unto God!
Did you know that you are all called to be priests of the Most High? 1 Peter 2:9 says "But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people." Why would God need us to be priests? First, let's look at what a priest is according to the ancient Hebrew definition. "Priest" is H3548, Kohen, which can mean firm, support, base, foundation, stalk of a plant, and cake. I must speak on the work cake, which is a type of bread. Yahshua is our High Priest and the Bread of Life. To resurrect means to place food in the stomach of a beast. Which food is most associated with Yahshua? Manna and the Bread of Life are associated with him. Additionally, we read that priests were originally ministers of the Most High, meaning they ministered unto God. In Ezekiel 40:46 it reads "these are the sons of Zadok among the sons of Levi, which come near to the Lord to minister unto him." Understand that we are one with Yahshua and are High Priests that minister Salvation, Resurrection, and we are the Life of God. When the widow woman lost her son and called upon Elijah for help, Elijah told her to first give her bread and make him a cake (1 Kings 17) Bread signifies resurrection, as we have established, and the widow had to sow into the resurrection anointing in order to receive of it. Taken deeper, the Father is wanting us to minister salvation and resurrection unto him, if you indeed are the Life of God and Bread of Life, one with Yahshua. Psalms 110:4 reminds you that "Thou are a priest for ever after the order of Melchizedek." Yes, if you are reading this you are a Priest and Minister to God. Minister means to serve, so ask Him what the desire of his heart is and let it be your mission to fulfill the calling and purpose he has given unto for His Namesake.
